I was given the incredible opportunity to design a Star Wars collection for New York Comic Con 2023. As a Star Wars fan and an avid gamer, I concepted the idea of a retro 80s arcade game featuring the iconic X-wing and Tie-fighters battling it out. I knew I wanted the art to be eye-catching with bright colors and that classic neon arcade feel. I incorporated classic Star Wars art with a lenticular screen on the front of the bag, LED light-up, and glow-in-the-dark features. The backpack is paired with a matching wallet with the same lenticular screen on the front. I’m happy to say this collection was a total showstopper at NYCC and the fans received it very well.
